Our work for the club also saw us play an influential role during the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan, achieving widespread media coverage with BBC Sportsday, BBC World Service, BBC 5 live, ITV, BBC Breakfast, Daily Mail and many more. On the back of the success of the Rugby World Cup, Sale Sharks saw a 46% increase in ticket sales for the 2019/20 season; a 21% increase in season-ticket sales; and all commercial targets were achieved in the season.
