About the role
The Junior Digital PR Account Executive role is key in helping us drive our Digital PR service. Essentially, you’ll be creating engaging stories based around our clients and their products to attract media attention. So, an eye for a good story and a thirst to get your clients featured in top newspapers and magazines is essential.
You need to be a creative thinker with strong writing skills and a news flare. Whether you love reading theories about Love Island contestants or keeping up to date with world news, a strong interest in keeping up to date with the media is essential.
This role promises tonnes of variety, with no two days looking the same. From sending out products for journalists to review to liaising with TV news outlets to cover events, this is a creative and varied role that is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
This is an entry-level role, so there’ll be lots of learning on the job – so we don’t expect you to know everything! The right candidate will have a strong work ethic, be eager to learn and be excited by the prospect of securing coverage in leading news titles. You’ll have good written and verbal skills, as well as good organisation skills in order to manage media lists and our journalist database.
Working alongside our Digital PR Director, Account Managers and fellow Account Executives, you’ll have a great team to support you, so being a team-player is a must.
This role may suit an english or journalism graduate, as well as graduates who have a keen interest in starting a role in PR.
