Digital PR, Social and Content Account Executives

Ideally, we’re looking for someone with experience working at an agency or in an in-house PR/communications role. You’ll be the reliable team member your account managers can trust with anything and have a strong work ethic. Someone that’s keen to learn and progress, is proactive and focused on smashing client objectives.

You’ll have a passion for social media, all things digital and a keen interest in SEO.

Here’s some stuff you’ll do

  • Deliver consistent and high-quality PR, social media and content marketing material for your clients, focused on helping them build brand profile and visibility
  • Organise and prioritise content for paid, earned, shared and owned (PESO) channels – from organic and paid social, to search-friendly content and digital PR that drives links and coverage
  • Build strong, mutually positive relationships with clients, establishing a strong rapport with key client contacts
  • Agree, monitor and be passionate about driving performance to hit client objectives
  • In-depth monthly and quarterly reporting against key objectives – focusing on all the important metrics across social, content marketing and PR
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of each client’s industry and hot topics, including editorial tracking
  • Be involved in devising and creating data-driven campaign ideas, alongside your account team
  • Create and manage insight-led media and influencer lists
  • Take accountability for media, contacts, relationships, outreach and sell-ins for clients

Here’s some stuff you’ll definitely need

  • Proven PR/editorial/digital/news capabilities and a strong command of the English language
  • A confident communicator with the ability to work to deadlines
  • Experience in agency-side or in-house public relations, content marketing, social media and/or journalism, etc.
  • Strong writing skills and a strong news sense, including creating compelling stories and content

Bonus points for any of the following…

  • A recognised qualification in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, English or a related communications field.
  • A strong sense of what does and doesn’t work on social
  • An understanding of the mechanics of digital PR
  • An understanding of content management systems i.e., WordPress
  • Knowledge and/or keen interest in tools to help inform, measure and evaluate campaign success (i.e., Google Analytics etc.), as well as social media marketing (i.e., HootSuite, Socialbakers or Falcon etc.), content marketing (i.e. BuzzSumo) and social media platforms (including paid activity for Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter etc.).
  • A basic understanding of search engine optimisation (SEO). From keywords and structure of content, to the importance of obtaining links
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
